Beginner Crochet Velvet Bell sleeve top

Abbreviations:

Chain+single crochet / Foundation single crochet (FSC)

Double crochet (DC)

Slip stitch

What you'll need:

Hooks 4mm/5mm

Measuring tape

Elastic band

tapestry needles

Scissor

size 4 medium yarn probably 2 1/2- 3 ball

( I used lion brand Vel-luxe yarn, dusty pink, 150g/246yd per skein)

Beginning of the pattern:

This is a super easy pattern and what we need is 3 yarn pieces, plus when you think about it, it is just a tube top with two sleeves...... anyways.

Part one

Making the tube top,

Measurements of your chest and hip/waist is all you need for a simple tube top, plus the length from your chest down to the hips/waist. ( My chest 23'inch / hip 29'inch )

*elastic band, cut enough for your chest and tie

Create your ribbing edges then

Row 1. Chain + single crochet / Foundation single crochet ( 92 FSC )

Row 2 -23. Double Crochet

Row 24. Single crochet your elastic band in.

Slip stitch the edges together and weave in the yarn.

Sort of Part two or nonexistent part "Awkward...."

I have made my life harder and decided to do a increase for the girls (boobs), which i definitely recommend not to do so, cause it really didn't make much of a difference. "Awkward.........." so skip to part 3.

But if you want to like i did, measure the length from your under boob to the hips/waist that is where you want to stop at and start to do a increase.

Increase from row 13. Increasing from the edge, 2 DC at the beginning of the chain and 2 DC again at the last chain.

Increase 2 or 4 at the edge again from row 16. 

Decrease 2 at the edge from row row 20.

Decrease 4 at the edge from row 22.

DC row 23. 

SC elastic band in row 24.

Slip stitch the edges together and weave in the yarn.

Part Three

Making the sleeves.

Measurements of the arm width and the length of how long do you want the sleeve to be (and the length from arm to elbow).

Row 1. Chain+single crochet/ Foundation single crochet ( 50 FSC )

Row 2 - 13. Double crochet

Row 14 - 27. Increase DC at the edge

Row 28 - 37. Double crochet

Slip stitch edges together and weave in yarn.

REPEAT and make another sleeve.

Final Part

Attachment of the sleeves to the top.

Find the center of where you want your sleeves to be at and slip stitch them together.
